Wilwright Electrical Contractors was founded in 1990 by the two partners in the business, Gary Wright and Chris Wilson. NICEIC accredited, we provide a full electrical design, build and installation service. Specialising in providing electrical services to the modular building industry, we also take on a wide variety of other contract work. Our areas of expertise range from commercial and industrial to the public sector, health care, education, leisure and residential housing.

Our reputation is built on successful experience and a proven track record, carefully developed over nearly thirty years. Investment in high quality people is at the heart of our business, coupled with effective processes and flexibility that enable us to maintain highly competitive pricing.

We’re able to provide rapid response and effective national coverage from our central Midlands location and our bases in Hull and Heathrow - normally no more than two hours away from any required location.

Our Pulse wholesale operation was established in 2003 in order to provide instant availability, extensive choice and control over stock. This operation is based in a modern new site in Cannock, where it holds stock with a value of around £400,000.

Our directors and managers have combined experience of the electrical industry of well over 100 man years. Other shared experience and qualifications include operations and project management, electrical installation, IEE 16th edition, Qualifying Manager for NICEIC, airside and Heathrow T5 licences, health and safety CSCS, and JIB Approved Electrician. Ongoing training is a key part of our investment in quality people – including first aid, health and safety CSCS, safe working at height, manual handling, cherrypicker operation, scaffold erection, PASMA and mobile tower operation.

We have accreditation from NICEIC (National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting) - the electrical contracting industry’s independent voluntary regulatory body for electrical installation safety matters throughout the UK. NICEIC Approved Contractor (Enrolment No. 022069)
